Mahe – Praslin

Day1 Mahe – Praslin (3 Nights) (Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes by ferry)

Welcome to Seychelles International Airport at Mahe and proceed by shared transfer to Mahe ferry terminal to board your ferry to Praslin. On arrival at Praslin, transfer from ferry terminal to your hotel. Praslin is Seychelles’ second largest island where the vegetation is so special it was once seriously believed to be the original site of the Garden of Eden. Overnight at Praslin.

Day 2 Praslin – La Digue Island Boat & Bike Tour

Today after breakfast proceed to Praslin ferry terminal to board ferry to Praslin.LaDigue Island is the focus of traditional slow-paced creole-livingway of life,first inhabited in1798. With a map in hand, start your cycling adventure by rummaging through the narrow roads that wind their way around the island. The plateau area has a combination of residential dwellings and guest houses with few hotels. The ‘Veuve Reserve’ is a sanctuary named after the endemic birds which inhabit the area. A visit to the timeless L’Union Estate is an absolute must, where the old agricultural processing method is preserved, such as the traditional copra mill, built to extract virgin coconut oil following the laborious de-husking of the coconut and extraction of the flesh from the shell. A quick stop by the Art gallery in the basement of the iconic Grann Kaz, a historical 19th century French Colonial Plantation House where the famous movie from 1977, ‘Goodbye Emmanuel’ was filmed. Meet the giant tortoise before passing through the vanilla plantation on your way to Anse Source D’Argent. If you haven’t done so yet, it’s time to pull out your camera for some incredible pictures of Anse Source D’Argent reputed for its picturesque boulders molding into crystal clear waters and powder like sandy beach. Later back to Praslin by ferry. Overnight at Praslin.

Day 3 Praslin – Visit Valle De Mai and Anse Lazio

After breakfast, proceed to visit home of our Coco de Mer nut – ‘The Vallée de Mai’, a UNESCO World Heritage site on Praslin Island. A walk through this mysterious palm forest in haling its unique essence is unlike any other. One could be easily forgiven for assuming that it could have been the legendary Garden of Eden.
Moving onto Anse Lazio beach, reputed for its stunning landscape. A perfect mixture of powdery sands blended with crystal clear waters against a lush backdrop of endemic vegetation of different shades of green. Overnight at Praslin.

Note: Anse Lazio & Valle De Mai Tour happens on Monday and Thursdays only

Day 4 Praslin – Mahe (2 Nights) (Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes by ferry)

After breakfast, proceed by shared transfer to Praslin ferry terminal to board your ferry to Mahe. On arrival at Mahe ferry terminal, proceed for your shared transfer to the hotel. You have rest of the day at leisure to explore this beautiful island on your own. Overnight at Mahe.

Day 5 Mahe - Full Day Mahe Island Tour

Today after breakfast experience the diversity and inspiring scenic beauty of Mahé, Seychelles’ largest and most populated island. Let's start with a visit at the centre of Victoria, the world’s smallest capital. First stop is at the brightly painted Hindu temple, a distinguished structure differentiated by its unique design. A place where the faithful join for prayer. A few more steps across the road and we will come upon the colourful market, filled with fresh fruits & vegetables, a variety of fish and local spices; the perfect combination for an appetizing creole dish.
The tour then takes a turn to the prominent Clock Tower, one of the most iconic historical features of Seychelles. Inaugurated since 1903, it is set in the middle of a cross-section in the town centre, impossible to miss.
Another interesting place to visit is the Botanical Garden. This beautiful haven is just 5 minutes out of Victoria, accommodating the rarest endemic flora of the island and home to some spirited land tortoises. There's bound to be plenty of postcard worthy pictures to take back home. This is all part of an exciting morning designed to work up your appetite before settling for lunch. Our last stop will be at Domaine de Val des Pres (craft village) or to one of the stunning beaches of Seychelles.

Note: Optional: Mahe city tour can be replaced with Anne Marine Park Tour at additional cost of EUR 10 per person.

Day 6 Mahe - Departure

Today after breakfast, proceed to Mahe airport to board flight to your hometown or onward destination. Holiday Concludes.
